Getting to Know Kat Taege, CCA

While working at Animal Family, Kat wears multiple hats. She is one of the friendly people you will meet and speak with on the phone when you call us – she schedules appointments and answers your questions. Kat assists in any way she can to provide comfort and care to her clients and patients.

Kat and Animals

Animals impacted Kat’s life by helping her learn what it means to be responsible at an early age. Currently, Kat and her husband have a one-and-a-half year old Australian shepherd named Huckleberry.

Kat’s Local Favorites

Kat has lived in the area since January of 2019. Her favorite parts of Davenport include all the many parks and hiking trails around her. You can find her locally spending time outside:

• hiking
• walking her dog
• taking pictures

If Kat could have three wishes:

1. To have more time to travel. Kat loves to experience as many cultures as she can and wants to take pictures of as many countries as possible.
2. To own a piece of large land in the country and build her own home. This would allow Kat and her husband to support their outdoor hobbies, including hiking and riding ATVs.
3. To have a second and third aussie for her dog to have playmates. Kat and her husband fell in love with the breed and can’t imagine having only one in their family.

Kat is an artist and is classically trained in darkroom photography!
